This strenuous trail leads to the flora-rich mesa top of Baldy Mountain, rewarding hikers with magnificent south-facing views of Zion Canyon, Angels Landing and the Virgin River below. While much of the trail runs on a rough concrete pour common to Zion Canyon-area trails (often easier to traverse than typical dirt and rock), the steep grades, high exposure and long drop-offs will challenge even the most fit hikers.
