Signal Hill Trail - Tucson Mountain District

The Signal Hill Trail takes visitors back thousands of years to gaze at Petroglyphs (rock art) of the ancient Hohokam Indians. The trail begins at the Signal Hill Picnic area, located off the Bajada Loop Drive in the Tucson Mountain District of Saguaro National Park. Leaving from the west end of the parking lot, this short trail leads across a wash and up a small hill of black basalt rocks for .15 miles to the Signal Hill Overlook.
