Boulder Reservoir

The Boulder Reservoir is a 700-acre, multi-use recreation area and water-storage unit. The reservoir facility includes beach volleyball courts, boat rentals, a snack food concession, seasonally-guarded swim beach, restrooms, showers, horseshoe pits, ramp access for watercrafts and 13 picnic sites. A series of paved, dirt and gravel road-trails connect to form a contiguous 5.25 mile loop around the Boulder Reservoir. This 4-season, multi-purpose trail passes through open space and wetlands with sensational views of the Boulder foothills, Green-Bear-South Boulder Peak complex and Indian Peaks Wilderness.
