Sand Dune Arch, Arches National Park, Utah
Sand Dune Arch
Arches National Park
Sand Dune Arch is aptly named for its location in a sandy slot between two giant sandstone fins. The area's dune-like sand is particularly fine and bears a pinkish red tone - a clear indication of its entrada sandstone origin. Due to its proximity to the main road, Sand Dune Arch is one of the most visited arches in the park.
