Spruce Creek Trailhead: Mohawk Lake, Lower Mohawk Lake and Mayflower Lakes
Summit County - Eagle County - Clear Creek County
Embedded within the southern flank of Mt Helen rest three striking alpine lakes: Mayflower, Lower Mohawk and Upper Mohawk Lakes. The lakes are accessible via the Spruce Creek Trail - a short drive from downtown Breckenridge, Colorado. Known as one of photographer John Fielder's favorite Colorado hikes, the trail to Mayflower and Mohawk Lakes provides some of the best views in the Summit County and is highly recommended.
