At just under 11,000', Woodland Lake is a popular backcountry destination in the Hessie area of the Indian Peaks Wilderness. At over 6 acres in area with a maximum depth of 7 feet, the lake is perfect for fishing. Cutthroat Trout are stocked in abundance and a valid Colorado fishing licence is required for anglers.
