Rogers Pass Lake and Heart Lake occupy adjacent alpine benches in the southwest corner of the James Peak Wilderness Area. A winding path traces South Boulder Creek to its headwaters at Rogers Pass Lake, and continues through treeline into the open tundra to Heart Lake. Visitors will enjoy miles of pristine forests and open alpine landscapes on this varied trek through Colorado's high country.
