Panamint Sand Dunes
Death Valley National Park
The Panamint Sand Dunes are located 4 miles from Lake Hill Road in Death Valley National Park. They lie on a bajada on the north end of Panamint Valley ringed by the Panamint, Cottonwood and Nelson mountain ranges. 4 miles of trail-less, desolate scrub separate these dunes from the nearest road, making them Death Valley's least-accessible dunes.
