The Icicle Ridge overlook trail consists of a well-maintained, consistently switchbacked grade that ascends the northern end of the long Icicle Ridge west of the town of Leavenworth. The track traverses open pine and fir forest typical of the drier east side of the Cascades and, if done in early summer, is flush with wildflowers. The trail culminates in a great overlook of the Leavenworth area.
