Mayflower Lake, Lower Mohawk and the upper Mohawk Lakes are accessible from the Spruce Creek Trail just south of Breckenridge, Colorado. Lower Mohawk Lake (11,810') and Upper Mohawk Lake (12,073') are located just .4 miles apart along the south flank of Mt Helen. Mayflower Lake is a moderate 1 mile roundtrip excursion off the main trail. These lakes have been cited as one of photographer John Fielder's favorite Colorado hikes.
